When Tempest returns to the Hidden Valley to reclaim the powers of his birthright, an ancient evil emerges, capturing the very gods of the sea. And when that same evil turns its eye on Garth's ally and new mentor Atlan, the young hero gets some unexpected help from Tula--also known as Aquagirl and the woman he once loved, whom he thought dead!
With Tula back at his side, Tempest performs the ritual to gain his full inherited powers. But instead of claiming Garth's family's abilities, the ritual frees Slizzath--the god-snatching evil determined to set up his throne upon the bones of all undersea dwellers. Pitted against a legion of dead soldiers, and with Tula somehow oblivious to the danger around them, will Tempest be able to defeat the mounting evil around him on his own?
